Well, the long hot summer of 26 has seen some more great events organised for North Notts BID. Our usual programme has included the ever popular ‘Cirque du North Notts’ in May, followed by ‘North Notts Food Fest’ with wonderful guest chef, Phil Vickery, and rounded off with another awesome Party in the Square which even a thunderstorm couldn’t dampen spirits!
Hundreds attended North Notts Food Fest with Phil Vickery proving to be a popular celebrity chef. Joined by local artisans, Nicole Olivia Cakes, Cafe Neo and the Vintage Bakery, visiting foodies flocked to the demonstrations and purused the street food market.
And as the long hot summer came to an end, August bank holiday Sunday saw Party in the Square return to Retford. We were incredibly lucky with the weather with only a thunderstorm towards the end of the day putting a fifteen minute showstop in place before the crowd continued to party!
It’s now onto Halloween and Christmas events to round off another successful 2026
